Contract Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

1. Contract Acknowledgment

By signing and accepting our Estimate, you enter into a legally binding agreement. We encourage you to thoroughly review the terms before signing.

2. Services Provided

Installation & Removal:

Our full-service offering includes setup, maintenance, takedown, and storage. Maintenance runs from November 15th to January 2nd, and removal is scheduled between January 2nd and January 31st for lights, and January 2nd to January 15th for greenery (trees, wreaths, garlands, menorahs).

Additional Charges: Maintenance or repairs outside this window will incur extra fees. Decorations left up past these dates will also result in additional charges.

3. Estimates & Pricing

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Prices include all necessary materials (extension cords, staples, tie wraps). All quoted prices cover leased products unless specified otherwise.

4. Electrical Requirements & Liability

GFI Outlets: You are responsible for resetting Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFI) outlets that may trip due to moisture. Randy’s Holiday Lighting is not liable for outages caused by tripped GFI outlets.

Sprinkler Systems: To avoid GFI tripping, refrain from using sprinklers while the lights are on. Taping electrical connections may void warranties and increase moisture-related issues.

Electrical Outlets: Easily accessible outlets are required near each installation area.

5. Pruning Requirements

All trees and palms must be pruned by September 15th or 60 days before your installation date. Failure to prune adequately may result in additional fees for on-site pruning.

6. Installation Methods & Surface Damage

Attachment: We typically use staples to secure lights. If alternative methods are required, additional charges may apply.

Concrete & Stucco Surfaces: Hot glue may be used on concrete or stucco surfaces. While we strive to minimize any residue, Randy's Holiday Lighting is not responsible for any damage caused during removal.

7. Booking & Deposits

Installation dates are confirmed once we receive both a signed contract and a 50% deposit. Lights can be installed up to 60 days before your requested turn-on date and will remain unplugged until then.

8. Damage & Theft Liability

The customer assumes responsibility for any damage or theft caused by uncontrollable factors such as vandalism, severe weather, electrical surges, lawn maintenance, or unpruned palm fronds. Reinstallation or replacement following natural disasters like hurricanes or tornadoes will incur additional fees.

9. Sidewalk & Property Liability

Our trucks may need to drive on sidewalks during installation. Randy's Holiday Lighting is not liable for any damage caused to sidewalks. If you object, please inform us in writing before installation begins.

10. Legal Jurisdiction

All disputes arising from this agreement are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, with exclusive jurisdiction in Palm Beach County.

11. Maintenance & Repair Service

For issues with lights or decorations, contact Randy at (561) 452-8766. We aim to resolve problems within 48 hours of notification.

12. Insurance & Licensing

Randy's Holiday Lighting is fully insured and licensed, ensuring complete coverage for all services.

13. Three-Year Contract & Discounts

Discount Offer: Commit to a three-year contract and receive a 10% annual discount. The total annual spend must be at least 90% of the first year’s total.

Cancellation & Reimbursement: Should you cancel before the end of the term, you must reimburse Randy's Holiday Lighting for all discounts previously received. Written cancellation notice is required by September 1st each year. Failure to provide timely notice will result in full payment for the current year.
